Himalayan Trekking
Our Adventure Camp transports 2nd – seventh graders out to authentic native settings for thrilling, fulfilling out of doors experiences. Whether they’re returning or first-time campers, day by day is a distinct journey—mastering mountain biking, mountaineering a path, paddling a canoe or kayak—and every challenge is calibrated to their age and talent.
Eventually we decided to head as much as Grand Mesa, simply exterior Grand Junction, Colorado. Grand Mesa is likely one of the largest flat-high mountains on this planet. Its elevation gets up to 11,333 feet, so every thing was coated in pine trees and dotted with alpine lakes. We figured Frankie wouldn’t get too hot and she’d have places to swim. Grand Mesa is managed by the US Forest Service, so canine are allowed.
